BECKLEY, W.V. – The Friends of Charity Steering Committee, who oversees the Friends of Charity Auto fair, today announced the sale of golden tickets for the Josh Turner concert on July 10 at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport.
100 golden tickets are available for a price of $40 each. Ticket-purchasers will have a chance to win up to $400 and an autographed Josh Turner golden ticket.
“The Friends of Charity Auto Fair is one of the most memorable events of the year in southern West Virginia, from the delicious selection of foods, child-friendly activities, fireworks, musical performances, to the hundreds of the hottest cars ever made. The fair’s first-ever golden tickets, providing ticket-purchasers with an opportunity to win up to $400 and an autographed Josh Turner golden ticket, makes it even more special,” said Steering Committee member Janett Green. “The golden tickets will ultimately raise more money for the local nonprofit beneficiaries of the fair, Hospice of Southern West Virginia and Brian’s Safehouse.”
Prizes are given to the top five winners of the drawing, with 1st place receiving three additional golden tickets to the concert autographed by Josh Turner, and 2nd place to 5th place receiving one additional golden ticket to the concert autographed by Josh Turner. 1st place receives $400 cash; 2nd place, $200; 3rd place, $160; 4th place $80; 5th place, $40.
Winners of the golden ticket drawing are announced on July 7. Concert tickets are sold separately and not included with Auto Fair day passes and vehicle registration passes. Golden tickets can be purchased at: wvautofair.com/tickets
