WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Many areas throughout the Mountain State have been advised to anticipate low overnight temperatures which could result in the formation of frost.
According to Pocahontas County Emergency Management, temperatures are expected to drop to as low as 34 degrees during the AM hours on Wednesday morning, potentially leading to frost conditions which could negatively impact sensitive vegetation which has been left uncovered.
Areas which purportedly stand to be affected include Southeast Fayette, Northwest Nicholas, Southeast Nicholas, Northwest Webster, Southeast Webster, Northwest Pocahontas, Southeast Pocahontas, Northwest Randolph and Southeast Randolph Counties.
These conditions are anticipated to go into effect at 3:00am Wednesday morning and persist until 8:00am.
