Dave Coulier, widely recognized for his role as Joey Gladstone on the hit sitcom Full House, has revealed he is battling stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
According to Fox News, Coulier, 65, shared that his diagnosis came in October following an upper respiratory infection caused by significant swelling in his lymph nodes.
“Three days later, my doctors called me back, and they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and it’s called B cell, and it’s very aggressive,’” Coulier told People.
Two weeks after receiving the diagnosis, Coulier began chemotherapy treatments.
In preparation for the effects of the treatment, he decided to shave his head, describing it as a “preemptive strike” on his Full House Rewind podcast.
Despite the challenging news, Coulier remains in good spirits and is determined to fight the disease.
