Day 1 of the Concord Women’s basketball team shootout commenced Friday in Athens.
The event featured local girls basketball teams such as PikeView, Princeton, Wyoming East and Greenbrier East playing scrimmaging during the WVSSAC’s three-week period.
Day 2 will get started on Saturday at 8:45 a.m and will feature more local teams including Summers County and River View as well as defending Class AAA champion Logan.
