Beckley – In it’s season opener, the Woodrow Wilson volleyball team swept Independence 3-0 Tuesday night in Beckley.
The Flying Eagles won the three sets 25-14, 25-15 and 25-22, improving to 1-0.
Indy drops to 2-4.
Both teams will return to action Saturday morning when Woodrow hosts the Shirley Brown Invitational.
