Greenbrier East 74, Beckley 33
Fairlea – There wasn’t much suspense in the latest chapter of the Greenbrier East-Beckley rivalry.
East raced out to a 35-5 advantage after a quarter and was never threatened the rest of the way, earning a 74-33 win over Beckley in Fairlea.
East held Beckley to 20 percent shooting from the floor and forced 23 turnovers.
Kennedy Stewart led the Spartans with 21 points in the win while Jada Waller netted 18.
Josie Cross led Beckley with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
