Roane County 42, Independence 7
Spencer – Independence saw its season come to an end Friday night, falling 42-7 at Roane County. The Raiders led wire-to-wire in a game that saw them avenge playoff losses in 2021 and 2023 to the Patriots.
Roane advances to the Class AA title game where it will face No. 1 Frankfort on Friday at 7 p.m. at Laidley Field in Charleston.
