NITRO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Students at one West Virginia elementary school were able to get cooled off in a unique way during the school day today.
According to a Facebook post from the Nitro Fire Department, students at Nitro Elementary were able to get cooled off after fire crews brought a fire truck to the school and turned on the water.
Photos posted by the department shows students soaking in the water with smiles on their face while they cool off from the 80-degree-plus temperatures the area is experiencing.
The forecasted high for Nitro is 89 degrees for Thursday.
