Summers County 49, Shady Spring 34
Shady Spring – Summers County held Shady Spring to single digits in each of the final three quarters to secure a 49-34 win over the Class AAA Tigers Thursday in Shady Spring.
Maggie Stover led the way for Summers with 12 points while Gracie Harvey added nine and Jesse Ward eight.
Kendra Pizzino, Brooklyn Gibson and Brooke Lipford each scored eight points for Shady in the loss.
Summers improves to 13-6 and will travel to Pocahontas County on Monday.
