Princeton – Kayley Bane, Savannah Brehm and Andrea Laxton all homered Wednesday evening as Wyoming East opened its season with a 14-2 win over Princeton in five innings.
Brehm homered twice and drove in four runs, Bane smacked a grand slam and drove in five with a 3 for 4 performance and Laxton went 2 for 3 with two RBI.
In her first career start, freshman Paytin Brehm allowed just two runs on three hits, striking out nine batters.
Riley Riggs, Zoey Agnew and Emma Johnson each had a hit each for Princeton in the loss.
