The Lootpress Player of the Week Award sponsored by Mid-State Ford, Little General and The Law Offices of Brandon Steele, has returned for a third year.
Below are the candidates for the sixth full week of the girls basketball season.
Voting will close Friday, Feb. 7 at 12:59 A.M. The fan vote will be used in the event of a tie. There are also changes to the Player of the Week voting pertaining to the top overall vote getter that you can read about here

- Chasity Kennedy, River View – Kennedy scored 27 and 25 for the Raiders last week.
- Riley Meadows, PikeView – Meadows scored 23 and 21 in a pair of wins for the Panthers.
- Rumor Barnhouse, Midland Trail – Barnhouse scored in double figures twice in a pair of wins.
- Karsyn Paynter, Westside – Paynter was good for 12.5 ppg for the Renegades and double digit rebounds.
- Ella Botts, Summit – Botts broke the 20-point mark three times, hitting for 31 in a win.
- Mya Dunlap, James Monroe – Dunlap scored 17.5 ppg for the Mavericks last week in a pair of wins.
- Abby Perisnegr, Summers County – Persinger netted 19 points in a win.
- Preslee Treadway, Greenbrier West – Treadway scored 18 points in a win.
- Rhiley Honker, Liberty – Honaker scored 19 points for Liberty in a win.
- Leah Adkins, Greater Beckley – Adkins scored 26.5 ppg for the Crusaders last week.
- Kendra Pizzino, Shady Spring – Pizzino netted 14 points in a rivalry win over Independence.
- Kennedy Stewart, Greenbrier East – Stewart scored 26 and 19 in a pair of wins to secure the Battle for the Springhouse title.
- Addy Isaacs, Oak Hill – Isaacs scored 14 points each in a pair of Oak Hill wins.
