Greenbrier East finds itself tied for No. 1 in Class AAA in the latest WVSACA Girls Basketball poll released Monday.
The Spartans received three first-place votes and are tied with Wayne for the top spot.
Two-time defending Class AA state champion Wyoming East sits in a three-way tie for second just behind No.1 Wheeling Central. The Warriors are joined by St. Marys and Williamstown.
James Monroe is tied for No. 6 in the AA poll, while Summers County is tied for ninth.
River View is tied for No. 4 in Class A and Greenbrier West is No. 7.
