Greenbrier West 72, Tygarts Valley 29
Charmco – Greenbrier West welcomed Tygarts Valley to town Wednesday and promptly mowed the Bulldogs down 72-29.
The Cavaliers held a 17-point advantage after one quarter and led by 26 at the break.
Ava Barclay paced the home team with 19 points and four steals. Brilee Redden added 14 points and also had four steals.
Preslee Treadway scored 12 points and Abigail Thomas had nine. Treadway grabbed six rebounds and Thomas had seven steals.
Meagan Poticher also pulled down six rebounds and had four assists.
Summer Lewis-Smith led Tygarts Valley with 11 points.
Greenbrier West (3-0) hosts regional rival James Monroe Friday night.
