Logan – Logan all-state guard Peyton Ilderton scored 29 points as the Wildcats ran past PikeView 56-38 Friday in the Wildcat Classic at Willie Akers Arena in Logan.
Playing their first home game, the Wildcats blitzed the Panthers, leading 18-7 after a quarter and steadily pulled away in the second half.
PikeView guard Hannah Perdue led the Panthers with 15 points in the loss.
PikeView drops to 1-1 and will play Lincoln County on Saturday on the second day of the Wildcat Classic. Logan will play Lincoln on Saturday as well, also in the Wildcat Classic

JANE LEW – Greenbrier East took a 34-15 lead at halftime and went on to defeat Lewis County, 62-32 Friday night.
Daisha Summers led all scorers with 24 points and five steals, while Allie Dunford had 11 points, four steals, six rebounds and five assists.
Cadence Stewart also had six rebounds
Emma Pinkney led Lewis County with eight points.
Greenbrier East (4-0) hosts Bluefield Monday.

CHARMCO – Pocahontas County outscored Greenbrier West 25-10 in the second period on it way to a 47-24 win Friday.
Makayla Ervine led the Warriors with 13 points, while Allyson Alderman and Olivia Vandevender had nine points apiece.
Meagan Poticher led the Cavaliers with 12 points.
