Independence took a 35-13 lead at the half and rolled past county rival Liberty 60-36.
Harmony Mills scored 20 points and Alli Hypes added 10 points to the lead the Patriots. Jenna Harvey and Zoey Bragg score seven points each for Independence who hosts Montcalm Wednesday.
Kirsten Miller led all scorers for Liberty with 30 points. The Raiders host River View Tuesday.

Princeton – Kayley Trump had a triple-double and Bailee Martin exploded for 22 points to lead Mercer Christian past Mount Hope Christian 58-26 Monday.
Kayley Trump had 16 points along with 10 rebounds, 10 assists and six steals for the Cavaliers.
Ella Botts had eight points, six rebounds and nine steals, while Karis Trump had five assists, four rebounds and three steals to go with her eight points.
Macie Pack led the Warriors with 13 points.
