Charleston – North Marion forced 22 first-half turnovers, holding Keyser to nine points in the opening 16 minutes of a 61-23 win Wednesday morning at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
The victory sends North Marion to the semifinals for the third straight season and the second straight time in Class AAA.
Leading 15-7 after a quarter, the Huskies dominated Keyser, limiting the Golden Tornado to two points in the second quarter with both coming in the final 37 second of the half.
Olivia Toland led the Huskies with 19 points while Emma Feels added 10. Kaitlyn Caron finished with 11 rebounds in the win.
Keyser was paced by Aly Smith who scored eight in the loss.
North Marion will play the winner of Logan-Philip Barbour on Friday.
