PikeView 39, Westside 32
Gardner – PikeView freshman Jocelyn Hall had one of her best games when her team needed it most.
Hall scored a game-high 13 points, helping PikeView earn a 39-32 win over Westside in the sectional championship Wednesday in Gardner.
With the win PikeView will host the sectional loser of the other side of the region next week with a state tournament berth on the line. Westside will travel to the winner.
Jaelynn Shrewsbury joined Hall as the only other player in double figures, scoring 11 points. Rylee Brown led Westside with eight points in the loss.
