Hico – Megan Gill had a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Addison Isaacs scored 19 points and had eight rebounds to lead Midland Trail past Greenbrier West 56-48 Wednesday.
Catherine Maxwell had seven blocks for the Patriots.
Freshman Preslee Treadway led the Cavaliers with 18 points, while Meagan Poticher scored 10 and Maddi Field had nine.
The victory was the sixth in a row for Trail (6-2) who is scheduled to play at Nicholas County Thursday weather permitting. Greenbrier West (3-6) hosts River View Friday.
