Summersville – Richwood recorded its fourth win of the season with a 47-31 win over Paden City Friday at the 2023 Winter Classic played at the Summersville Arena and Conference Center.
Baylee Jarrett and Chloe Cox led the Lumberjacks with 11 points on the day. Carlee Dillard added eight points and Alexxis Keifer scored seven.
Kimberly Burch paced Paden City with 13 and Ashton Wade had 10.

Independence pulled off a furious rally, outscoring Braxton County 46-42 on the road to secure a 46-42 win Friday night.
Harmony Mills scored a game-high 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds while Lacey Goodson added 15 points in the win.
Independence plays Tug Valley ninth Braxton County Holiday Tournament championship game on Saturday.

Summersville – James Monroe’s comeback effort fell short Friday night as the Lady Mavs fell 59-58 to Mingo Central in Summersville.
Mary Beth Meadows led the Mavs with 17 points in the loss while Maggie Boroski and Ava Dunlap scored 14 each.
Addie Smith led Mingo Central and all scorers with 26 points in the win.
