Princeton 49, Bluefield 32
BLUEFIELD – Sadie Boggess led a balanced effort for Princeton, scoring 17 points as the Lady Tigers beat county foe Bluefield 49-32 Tuesday at the Brushfork Armory.
Beyonka Lee was the standout for Bluefield, scoring 23 of her team’s 32 points.
Princeton improves to 2-1 and will travel to Blacksburg, Va. on Thursday. Bluefield drops to 2-1 and will host Tazewell that same day.

Greenbrier East 84, Oak Hill 45
FAIRLEA – Greenbrier East exploded for a 31-5 lead after the first quarter and went on to defeat sectional rival Oak Hill, 84-45 Tuesday.
Daisha Summers led all scorers with 23 points, while Brooke Davis added a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Davis was 6-for-9 from behind the arc for the Spartans.
Cadence Stewart scored 16 points and had nine rebounds for East and Allie Dunford scored eight points and had six assists.
Samaih Lynch led the Red Devils with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Taysia Gray has 14 points. Eden Gilkey scored eight points and had seven rebounds.
Greenbrier East (3-0) travels to Lewis County Friday. Oak Hill (2-1) hosts Nicholas County Thursday.
