Fairlea – Greenbrier East erupted for 27 points in the fourth quarter to down South Charleston 65-57 in Fairlea Saturday.
Cadence Stewart led East with 16 points and 10 rebounds while Kennedy Stewart (13), Hanna Fuller (10) and Caroline Dotson (12) also scored in double figures. Fuller added a double-double with 10 rebounds.
The Spartans improve to 8-3 and will travel to Beckley on Friday.

Cross Lanes – Mercer Christian overcame a slow start, scoring 26 points in the second quarter to eventually down Cross Lanes Christian 54-31 on the road.
Bailee Martin score 18 points in the win while Kayley Trump added 13 and Karis Trump 11.
