Adyson Hines collected her own rebound off a blocked shot and nailed the ensuing layup at the buzzer as James Monroe collected a 35-34 victory over Class AA Frankfort at the Tucker County Holiday Tournament Wednesday.

The victory came after a slow start on the Mavs’ part as they scored just one point in the first quarter.
Maggie Boroski led James Monroe with 12 points while Hines scored 10. Arin Lease led Frankfort with 10 in the loss.
James Monroe improves to 6-2 and will face No. 2 Tucker County on Thursday.
