Independence 46, Midland Trail 40
Coal City – The third quarter proved vital Thursday at Independence outscored Midland Trail 17-3 out of halftime to claim a 46-40 victory in Coal City.
Harmony Mills finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Indy while Lacey Goodson added 13.
Jayla Barnhouse led Trail with 17 points in the loss.

Gracie Harvey led the Lady Bobcat assault with 13 points while Avery Lilly netted 11.
Cara Brown led Bluefield with 15.
