Man – Independence outscored Man 21-6 in the the third period to pull away for a 68-49 win over the Hillbillies Saturday.
Harmony Mills and Lacey Goodson both recorded double-doubles for the Patriots. Mills scored 26 points along with 10 rebounds and eight assists, while Goodson scored 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had six assists.
Kamryn Wooten also grabbed 10 rebounds for Indy and Alli Hypes scored seven points.
Megan McCoy led Man with 17 points, while Jace Baisden added 14 and Jenna Baisden scored 11.
