Bluefield – Summers County held Bluefield to single digits in each of the first three quarters, coming away with a 58-44 win over the Beavers Thursday at Bluefield.
Abby Persinger scored 16 points to pace the Bobcats while Gracie Harvey added 14 in the win.
Melania Hayes led Bluefield with 10 points.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 6-1 and will host No. 1 Wyoming East on Dec. 27.

Oak Hill – James Monroe notched its fifth straight win Thursday, knocking off Class AAAA Oak Hill 52-17 in Oak Hill.
Haley Hunnicutt canned four 3s, scoring 20 points and reaching double figures for the third time this week. Maggie Boroski and Adyson Hines added 10 points each in the win.
The Red Devils were led by Taysia Gray and Hanna White who scored five points each.
James Monroe will play Frankfort on Dec. 28 at the Tucker County Christmas Tournament.
