Princeton – Princeton held Greenbrier East to two in points in the second quarter, knocking off the No.5-ranked Spartans 48-39 Friday in Princeton.
Maddie Stull, Reagan Southers and Lauren Parish all scored in double figures for the Tigers in the win.
East’s Cadence Stewart led all scorers with 14 points in the loss while Daisha Summers added 10 points.
East drops to 13-5 and will host North Marion on Saturday. Princeton improves to 12-6.

Hico – Megan Gill scored a game-high 25 points as Midland Trail rallied to beat Mercer Christian 42-38 Friday night in Hico.
Addison Isaacs added 13 for the Patriots while Karis Trump led the way for the Cavaliers.
Mercer Christian drops to 13-7 and will play in the first round of the WVCAT tournament on Thursday at West Virginia State.
Trail improves to 13-6 and will host Independence on Monday.
