Shady Spring 64, Greenbrier West 59
The Tigers outscored the Cavaliers 22-7 in the third period to erase a 13-point halftime deficit, rallying past Greenbrier West for a 64-59 win Wednesday inside Dave Wills Gymnasium.
Shady Spring had five players score in double figures led by 20 points from Kendra Pizzino who knocked down six 3-pointers in the win. Pizzino scored 12 points in the second half.
Megan Hendrick and Peyton Raban each had a double-double with Hendrick scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, while Raban added 12 points and had 10 rebounds.
Bryanna Shrewsberry scored 12 points and Austyn Barnes netted 11 for the Tigers who won their second game in a row.
Maddie Fields and Preslee Treadway recorded double-doubles for the Cavaliers. Fields scored 27 points and had 10 steals. Treadway added 16 points and had 15 rebounds.
