Summers County 42, Chapmanville 40
Chapmanville – Summers County closed out the 2022 portion of the schedule with a big 42-40 road win over Chapmanville.
The Lady Bobcats built a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter and held off a rally by the Lady Tigers to collect the win.
Sullivan Pivont led Summers with 15 points, while Gracie Harvey and Abby Persinger scored eight points apiece.
Alaira Evans led all scorers for Chapmanville with 18 points and Daizi Farley added 11.
Summers County (7-2) travels to Greenbrier West Tuesday.

Greenbrier East turned the ball over 22 times Friday morning, falling to Johnson Central 62-43 in the Carolina Invitational  in South Carolina.
Caroline Dotson and Cadence Stewart each scored 13 for the Spartans in the loss while Kennedy Stewart added 12.
East falls to 7-3 and will host South Charleston on Jan. 7.
