Summersville – Wyoming East rolled in the second quarter, scoring 25 points in the frame en route to a 56-35 victory Saturday afternoon in the Winter Classic in Summersville.
The two-time defending Class AA state champion Lady Warriors received balanced efforts with Abi Baker (15), Kyndal Lusk (12) and Cadee Blackburn (12) all scoring in double figures.
Gabby Canterbury led Winfield with nine points in the loss.

Summersville – Independence scored the final four points of the contest Saturday morning to defeat River View 58-54 in the Winter Classic played at the Summersville Arena and Conference Center.
Lacey Goodson scored 30 points for the Patriots including the go-ahead 3-pointer late in the game. Goodson also netted 13 points in the final quarter, including four triples.
Harmony Mills added 25 for Independence.
Chasity Kennedy led the Raiders with 18 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. Lilly Perkins scored 10 and had 11 rebounds, while Kaci Hatfield scored 13 points and Kaylee Blankenship had eight assists.

Summersville – Oak Hill used a solid defensive effort and a balanced scoring attack to defeat Riverside 51-29 at the Winter Classic played inside the Summersville Arena and Convention Center.
Taysia Gray and Addy Isaacs paced the Red Devils with 13 points apiece, while Ali Williams scored eight. Natalie Craddock and Jordan Harris added five points each.
Laila Campbell led the Warriors with 11 points and Cianna Groom had 10 points.

Dunlap sisters Ava and Mya scored 15 points each in the win while Maggie Boroski added 12.
Macy Singer led South with 10 points in the loss.
