Wyoming East 49, Keyser 48
Clarksburg – Cadee Blackburn nailed a pair of free throws with one second left, helping Wyoming East rally from a double digit deficit in the second half to claim a 49-48 victory over Class AAA Keyser in the CEC Invitational at Robert C. Byrd High School.
The Lady Warriors, who had scored only 25 points through three quarters, erupted in the fourth with 24 points in the comeback victory, getting keys3-pointers from Cadee Blackburn and Kyndal Lusk down the stretch.
Lusk led East with 14 points while Bibs Felt led Keyser with 18 points.
East hops back in action Saturday afternoon when it plays Wheeling Central in a matchup of title favorites.

Chapmanville – Greenbrier East outscored St. Joseph Central 32-20 in the second half to pick up a 61-49 win Friday night.
Kennedy Stewart led the Spartans with 20 points, five rebounds and six assists. Ava Workman added 10 points and had seven rebounds.
Mackenna McClure also scored 10 points for East and had four rebounds. Sandy Banton added eight points.
Mariah Johnson had 14 for St. Joe and Ava Gallion added 13 points.
