East Fairmont 74, Weir 49
Charleston – East Fairmont canned 11 3-pointers, seven in the first quarter, en route to a 74-49 victory over Weir in the Class AAA quarterfinals Tuesday evening in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Kenly Rogers led the charge for East with 19 points while Taryn Myers netted 15. Emma Moore rounded out the double figure scorers with 11 points.
The Bees also forced Weir into 24 turnovers, scoring 33 points off of them.
The Red Riders were paced by Rayna Hoover who netted 17 points in the loss.
East Fairmont will face the winner of Philip Barbour-Lewis County on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
