Charleston – No. 6 Philip Barbour out-rebounded No. 7 Sissonville 44-31 Friday evening, claiming the last spot on Championship Saturday with a 53-44 over the Indians in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
With the win the Colts advance to the Class AAA title game where they’ll face the top seed in North Marion at 7 p.m.
Braylyn Sparks scored a game-high 26 points for Philip Barbour one 7 of 15 shooting from the field, netting 8 of her 10 free throw attempts.
Kynna Britton led Sissonville with 18 points in the loss.
