CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – In his administration briefing on Tuesday, Gov. Justice announced that state employees will get an extra day and a half off this Thanksgiving.
Aside from being off for Thanksgiving Day, Gov. Justice announced that state employees will receive a half day on Wednesday and a day off on Friday.
This will result in state offices closing early on Wednesday and not reopening until Monday.
Gov. Justice also issued a proclamation last year giving state employees extra time off for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Gov. Justice has not announced any extra days off for the week of Christmas as of Tuesday afternoon.
