FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A granddaughter is facing charges after she allegedly used her grandmother’s bank account to make transactions.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, the victim says her granddaughter, Bryanna Hodge accessed her bank check card and made several transactions through the cash app. The victim provided deputies with a copy of her bank statement, which showed six transactions totaling 245 dollars. The victim said she did not authorize the charges or permit her granddaughter to use her card.
The suspect’s father provided a text message with his daughter showing her name was used on the card transactions.
Hodge is charged with six counts of fraudulent use of an access device. She is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 10,000 dollar bond.
