PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A grandson is facing charges after allegedly arguing with his grandma by choking her and striking his brother and grandpa.
According to Princeton Police, a domestic disturbance was received, and when police arrived, they observed blood coming from the suspect’s face and a distraught elderly man lying on the grass. The suspect, Dillon Powers, was detained. During the investigation, Dillon Powers began arguing with his grandma inside the home, taking her phone and placing his hands around her neck. Tyler Powers, Dillon’s brother, struck Dillan. Dillon then threw his grandma’s phone and broke it.
The grandma left home and made it to her car. Dillon Powers followed her, jumped in front of her vehicle, jumped onto the hood, and began striking it with his fists. He punched and shattered his grandma’s car.
When the grandpa attempted to help his wife, Dillon struck him in the head with a closed fist.
Dillon Powers was arrested and charged with domestic battery and destruction of property. He is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 5,000 dollar bond.
