FAIRLEA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Class AAA No. 2 Greenbrier East Spartans continued their strong start to the season Friday night with a decisive 43-6 win over the No. 24 Shady Spring Tigers.
The Spartans set the tone early and never looked back, using an efficient offensive attack and a stout defensive effort to control the game. The win pushes Greenbrier East to 4-1 on the season as they continue to build on their playoff push.

Shady Spring, now 1-5, struggled to keep up with the Spartans’ tempo and found points hard to come by against a disciplined Greenbrier East defense.
Greenbrier East will hit the road next week for a key matchup against Princeton, while Shady Spring will travel to Liberty to take on the Raiders in search of a much-needed win.
