CLARKSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Grinch landed himself in hot water over the weekend, reportedly having been taken into custody following attempts to commandeer are Clarksburg Police Department cruiser.
The timeless Christmas character is said to have been taken into custody by authorities following chaotic behavior during the city’s Christmas parade and WinterFest events, and now must spread holiday cheer to rectify his actions.
”On December 2nd Clarksburg Police arrested The Grinch after he tried to steal a Clarksburg Police cruiser,” read a statement issued by the Clarksburg Police Depaetment.
”The Grinch who had caused havoc throughout the Christmas parade and Clarksburg WinterFest was tripped by a 7 year old prior to being taken into custody. He was sentenced to community service and agreed to take photos with kids as punishment.”
The mysterious green entity has been spotted at numerous events throughout the Mountain State since the month of December began, and he is likely to be seen again and with greater frequency as the Christmas holiday approaches.
