WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – Shoppers in West Virginia will find Weis locations closed Sunday as a winter storm moves into the state.
Weis Markets announced that all of its West Virginia stores and in stores in other states will suspend operations for the day, including in-store pharmacies and gas stations.
The company said the decision was made out of concern for the safety of employees and customers as hazardous weather conditions develop.
Weis shared the closure notice on social media, stating that stores will remain closed throughout Sunday, Jan. 25.
The company plans to resume normal operations Monday morning, with stores reopening at 8 a.m., provided conditions allow.
Weis has two locations in Martinsburg and one location in Ranson.
