GLEN MORGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Groundbreaking Ceremony event has been announced for the Glen Morgan Treatment Plant in Raleigh County.
Scheduled to take place on at 12:00pm on Monday, April 22, 2024, the ceremony will begin the process of implementing upgrades to the sewer treatment plant, as well as adding additional capacity for businesses and residents in Glade Springs, Shady Spring, Cool Ridge, Flat Top, Ghent, Beaver, and Daniels.
“We’re excited to be upgrading the Glan Morgan sewer treatment plant in order to serve the growing areas in the southern part of Raleigh County,” said Jerry Smith, General Manager of the Shady Spring Public Service District.
The upgrade, an $8.7 million project, stands to improve the plant in its current state and add greater capacity to serve customers going forward.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 380 C&O Shop Road in Glen Morgan, WV and the public has been invited to attend.
