SALEM, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Salem in Harrison County is currently evacuating multiple areas due to flooding.
According to the City of Salem, due to the overwhelming amount of rain the city has received, officials are evacuating multiple areas.
Salem City Hall will be utilized as a shelter. If or when it gets full, Salem Elementary School will open as a second shelter.
City of Salem Police Officers and City employees will be coming to all houses to notify individuals.
Residents do not have to wait to be notified and may come to City Hall now.
