OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Health Department, in partnership with the Fayette Prevention Coalition, will host the second annual Healing Our Plateau event on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The community celebration will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Oak Hill and is open to all residents.
Organizers say the event is designed to highlight health, healing, and community connection while bringing people together in a positive environment.
“This is about celebrating our community and creating space for wellness, support, and togetherness,” the Fayette County Health Department shared in announcing the event. “We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the activities, and be part of this growing tradition.”
The evening will feature a variety of activities, educational resources, and opportunities to connect with local organizations. Food, entertainment, and family-friendly fun will also be part of the program.
This year marks the second Healing Our Plateau gathering, following the success of last year’s inaugural event. Community members of all ages are welcome to attend.
The Fayette County Health Department and Fayette Prevention Coalition encourage everyone across the Plateau and surrounding areas to join the celebration and help strengthen the spirit of health and healing in the region.
