JUMPING BRANCH, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Jumping Branch-Nimitz Volunteer Fire Department is urging residents to stay home as heavy snowfall continues to blanket the area.
As of this morning, secondary roads remain unplowed while the Department of Highways prioritizes main roads.
The department reports multiple stranded vehicles throughout their coverage area and warn that travel conditions are hazardous.
Residents are advised to avoid unnecessary travel and remain indoors for safety.
