MINGO COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Mingo County Sheriff’s Department received a call around 7:45 p.m. yesterday regarding possible human remains in the Dingess area.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed the discovery, prompting them to contact the West Virginia State Police (WVSP) Crime Scene Team for further assistance.
Authorities have maintained a presence at the scene since the initial report.
At this time, the sheriff’s office has released no additional details.
