FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – More than 500 customers are without electricity as of early Monday morning in parts of Fayette County, according to Appalachian Power.
The outage, affecting 522 customers in the Fayetteville and Beckwith areas, began at approximately 5:10 a.m.
Utility officials reported the outage status as “assessing,” indicating crews were working to determine the cause.
An estimated restoration time has been set for 11:30 a.m. Monday, though that timeline could change depending on the outcome of the assessment and any necessary repairs.
No immediate cause for the outage has been released.
