CABELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Huntington man is under investigation for alleged possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material following a Cyber Tip reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Law enforcement received Cyber Tip 204362883 on February 1, 2025, after an Electronic Service Provider (ESP) flagged 13 uploads of suspected child pornography from an account using the screen name “tthelongroddddy.” Authorities reviewed the reported files and confirmed they appeared to depict child exploitation.
Investigators traced the suspect’s IP address to the Huntington City Mission at 10th Street in Huntington, WV. Search warrants were subsequently issued for the suspect’s online accounts, including an email address linked to the username. Upon reviewing the obtained records, authorities found over 600 images of child sexual abuse material, including a disturbing video uploaded multiple times.
Further investigation led officers to identify the suspect as Joseph Doherty, confirmed through images found in the online account and matched with his Indiana DMV records.
