LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman faces multiple charges following officer response to a disturbance at Logan Regional Medical Center on Wednesday.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, a Domestic Disturbance situation was reported to have been occurring at Logan Regional Medical Center.
The situation saw response from Deputy C.L. Carter and Deputy A.B. Daniels of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office who responded to the scene.
An assessment of the scene was conducted by authorities on-site and the ensuing investigation indicated Misty Spears to have been the source of the disturbance.
While details of the initially reported disturbance remain unclear at the time of writing, additional charges incurred by Spears upon her arrest by Logan County officers – including Refusal to Fingerprint – indicate that issues may have arisen during the detainment process as well.
The full list of charges currently faced by Spears based on Wednesday’s incident per the Logan County Sheriff’s Office entails Domestic Assault, Domestic Battery, Refusal to Fingerprint, Public Intoxication, and Disorderly Conduct.
