HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman is in jail after she caused bodily injury to a man, telling the police you will have to “pull me off of him.”
Huntington Police say Leslie Alexander, 56, was observed lying on the ground in the front yard next to the victim when they arrived at the home for a domestic dispute. When Alexander saw the police coming, she climbed on top of the male victim, pinned him down to the ground, and told the police to pull her off of him.
Police then grabbed the woman’s arm, pulled her off the victim, and took her to the ground, where she was handcuffed. The male victim had a moderate amount of blood on his face and several lacerations to his head. The victim was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital for treatment and stitches.
Both the suspect and the victim admitted to drinking alcohol before the fight. Alexander revealed she had strangled the victim and hit him to show him what it felt like.
Alexander is charged with strangulation. She is in Western Regional Jail under a 10,000 dollar bond.
