SETH, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities made an arrest Monday while investigating a situation involving the potential theft of timber.
Reports from the Boone County Sheriff’s office indicate that, on Monday, January 9, 2023, deputies with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department were conducting an investigation throughout the Seth/Rock Castle area of the county regarding possible timber thefts.
Over the course of the investigation, deputies located an individual who was found to be a wanted individual due to failure to attend a scheduled court appearance.
The court appearance in question was in relation to prior felony charges which had been acquired, as well as a violation of parole.
Boone County Deputies arrested Cecil Green, 39 years old from Seth, WV.
It is unclear at this time whether Green himself was involved in the potential timber thefts which deputies were investigating at the time of the arrest.
