OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Jan-Care Ambulance caught fire while being started at the company’s Oak Hill station Thursday evening.
According to Jan-Care Ambulance, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. when an ambulance parked at the station caught fire as it was being started.
Crew members immediately began efforts to suppress the fire and were not injured.
Jan-Care thanked the Oak Hill Fire Department and Oak Hill Police Department for their quick response to the incident.
No additional information regarding the cause of the fire or the extent of damage to the ambulance was immediately available.
