WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman was arrested early Saturday morning, May 10, 2025, after deputies with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department discovered a variety of illegal drugs during a patrol in the Indian Creek area.
At approximately 12:36 a.m., Deputy M.T. Perry and Corporal Cook were conducting a routine patrol when they spotted a person on a bicycle entering an abandoned property with a burned-down trailer. As deputies approached, a male subject attempted to flee on foot but stopped after being ordered to halt.
The male, whose name has not been released, and a female identified as Dottie Quesenberry, were detained and granted deputies permission to search their persons.
Deputies discovered a small white plastic container with a crystal-like substance resembling methamphetamine on the male suspect. On Quesenberry, authorities recovered multiple illicit substances including:

A foil packet containing a crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine

A vial of blue powder that field-tested positive for fentanyl

A black vial with white powder that tested positive for cocaine

A container holding four vials labeled “M4,” identified as hydromorphone hydrochloride
All four substances are classified as Schedule II controlled substances under federal drug laws.
She was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department for processing. The recovered drugs will be sent to the West Virginia State Police Lab for further testing.
Charges are expected as the investigation continues.
